Web Design

Sushichi is an imagined brand website for a sushi bar and grill. Designed with simplicity in mind, it lets the artistic beauty of sushi shine. Colors found in main sushi platters are used to enhance the experience and create an appetizing atmosphere. Even without pictures, the illustrations are sure to make you hungry.
The name is a combination of the word “sushi” and the word for “one” in Japanese, “ichi,” inspired by the idea that sushi is meant to be eaten in a single bite.
Development
I coded the entire website in Adobe Dreamweaver. It was the final project after learning HTML and CSS for a few months and is fully responsive. I went through many wireframes to figure out what suited the style I was aiming for and was also appealing to a wide variety of users.
